The Sign Of The Times
LAWLESSNESS
by Pastor Bob Hallstrom

The Nation is Courting Disaster

It is an incontestable fact that the lawlessness we witness in this country on an unprecedented scale, is destroying our people and our society. We the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred people of this world as the literal descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, have a heritage that we must, and will fulfill, however, we, like our forefathers before us have a problem, and that problem is lawlessness.

Looking at world events, what other nations of the world is the "permissive society" so rife; in what other national entity is resistance to law and order so intense; in what other nation are there more people in jail per capita; in what other nation is there so much freedom to do that which is right in a man's own eyes?

The so-called "right" of the individual to create such a lawless society is declared to be the highest expression of "Freedom," and while this freedom is the pride and joy of Anglo-Israel, they fail to see that it is the most diabolical weapon which has been formed to accomplish the complete annihilation of the people whom God formed as His showpiece for Divine Law and Order. For God said of His people in Isaiah 43:21:

"This people have I formed for myself, they shall shew forth my praise."

God formed or chose the people of Israel to be a special people unto Himself and they were to obey His statutes, His laws, His commandments, and His judgements, that they might show forth His praise unto all nations of the world. When we, as the literal descendants of Israel, fail to keep God's laws then we are not only in rebellion against God, but it becomes impossible for us to accomplish our mission of showing forth His praise to all nations.

Yes we have become a lawless people and it is of interest to note here, that the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:37 stated:

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

So Christ refers to a future time of lawlessness and likens the condition of that society to that which was happening at the time of the great Flood. In Genesis 6:5 we read that at the time of the flood, it was a time when:

"... GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

No matter how you view the days of Noah, it is an undeniable fact that society was characterized by complete lawlessness, and human behavior was governed only by whatever limitations man saw fit to impose upon himself -- if any.

It is also significant to notice that God empowered man with the authority to execute judgment on his fellow man. For example in respect to murder, the death penalty was mandatory even in the days of Noah for in Genesis 9:6 we read:

Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

This verse, when considered in the overall context, singles it out, not as primitive retribution, but as a stabilizing deterrent against the crime of murder.

As it was in the days of Noah, today we see resistance to God and His Will continued in spite of the great witness of His judgment in the Flood. For example you may have noticed in the news recently that a man has been sentenced to death in Idaho for the killing of two people. This man has been found guilty on both counts and even wants to die, and has even admitted to those murders. But a bunch of do-gooder Methodists ministers, along with a bunch of dumb lawyers are trying to stop the execution. In addition, some world organization has requested its members to petition the state for clemency.

The problem down throughout the ages has not changed. From Adam to Noah, to this day and age all of our forefathers believed in the existence of God, but the problem is that they did not and we do not believe His promises.

The Promises, of course, are those made to the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These unconditional promises were given to them that they would be His witness unto all the other nations of the world. The nations of the world were to eventually see the blessing God had been pouring out on His people and also desire to live under His divine Law.

Now the covenants never left room for the promised seed to glory in some sort of unique favoritism, for their existence as a nation, not as a people mind you but as a nation, depended upon obedience, and this obedience was always within the context of God's Laws -- not man's laws. Otherwise there could be no obedience to God.

This principle of obedience, this principle of God desiring all people to live under His divine law, is found in the covenant made with Abraham. This principle, which today is sadly neglected, is found in Genesis 18:17-19.

17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

The phrase "shall I hide" is a common figure of speech used in Scripture actually meaning "I shall not hide. For example, elsewhere in Scripture we are told, "shall men gather grapes of thorns," and obviously, men do not gather grapes of thorns. So God is not hiding from Abraham that which He proposes to do to Sodom and Gomorrah, but revealing what He shall do.

First of all, God says that from Abraham's seed shall come mighty nations and through the witness of the promised seed all nations of the earth shall be blessed.

The reason for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was due to their wickedness, which is simply another word for lawlessness. And the revealing of the destruction of these cities will leave no doubt in Abraham's mind of the necessity of abiding by the laws of God. Thus Abraham knew to train up his children and those of his household to avoid the sins of these cities. In other words, Abraham was to train them up in the ways of the Lord -- not the ways of man.

There is only one "way of the Lord" and that way is found in the laws of the Lord, which were known to Abraham, although it is not stated in Scripture how be came to this knowledge. But by whatever means Abraham received instruction in God's Law, it is an undeniable Scriptural fact that his predisposition towards the Divine law was one of the main reasons for his selection as the patriarch of the servant nation of Israel. In fact, we are told in Genesis 26:5 that the reason Abraham became the patriarch and the receiver of the promises was:

"Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes and my laws"

So there is no doubt that Abraham knew the laws of God. Later, in the days of Israel, it became mandatory that the parents likewise instruct the children in the way of the Lord so that the Divine Law with its resultant blessings, would be a very tangible witness unto all nations of the world, but Israel had a hankering to follow after the ways of other peoples, and today we, their descendants, have a like hankering.

Because of this hankering, In Deuteronomy 11:27-28 Moses set before the nation of Israel a blessing and a curse:

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

And Moses said to them in Deuteronomy 12:8 that once they entered the promised land they would do differently than they had been doing:

"Ye shall not do after the things which we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes"

It seems apparent that while wandering in the wilderness, all of what God commanded they had not been doing, perhaps because simply being on the move at all times precluded some things to happen with regularity. However, here Moses makes it clear that this unsettled mode of life was about to cease and all that He had said they will do once they enter the promised land. If we were to read verses 10 and 11 we would see that the "rest and safety" in the land is laid down as the indispensable condition and basis for the entire fulfillment of the law.

Yes, as we are told in Deuteronomy 6:1-3 and 28:1-14, Israel was called upon to:

"hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments . . . that thy days may be prolonged . . . that it may be well with thee."

Lawlessness Part Two

I began our last [message] stating that it was an incontestable fact that the lawlessness we witness in this country on an unprecedented scale, is destroying our people and our society. We the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred people of this world as the literal descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, have a heritage that we must, and will fulfill; however, we, like our forefathers before, have a problem and that problem is lawlessness.

Towards the end of our last [message], I quoted Deuteronomy 6:1-3 because there Israel was told to:

"hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments . . . that thy days may be prolonged . . . that it may be well with thee."

Well let's look at just a few of God's laws and that will make things "well with thee." First of all we will look at child raising.

CHILD RAISING

In the Book of Proverbs, one reads of the sins of omission which, while considered as old-fashioned today, are nevertheless as real in this day and age as they were when written. However, today the teachings of Dr Benjamin Spock, child psychologists, and government have replaced the old rule of "Spare the rod and spoil the child." In Proverbs we read:

  • "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." Proverbs 13:24
  • "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare his crying." Proverbs 19:18
  • "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou be a test him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." Proverbs 23:13-14
  • "Correct thy son, and he shall give delight unto thy soul." Proverbs 29:17
  • "The rod of reproof gives wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother shame." Proverbs 29:15

These proverbs have long since been drummed out of our society, which has resulted in parental avoidance of their God- ordained responsibility. Thus today's parents are dispensing into an already sick society, more undisciplined and lawless children. And the more we feed our sick society with sick people the more cancerous our society becomes. The effect of our neglect in raising our children, can only contribute to the ultimate demise of God's chosen nation of Israel, which God formed as His witness nation.

Time and time again the prophets record for us that Israel failed to teach and thus preserve knowledge of the "way of the Lord." And the Levites, the teachers of those early days, failed to shout from the highest mountain tops, the importance for complete obedience to the Law of the Lord.

And when we neglect to teach scriptural discipline we give way to the satanic principle of every man doing that which was right in his own eyes with the only yardstick for behavior being the human conscience -- or rather the lack of it.

God's great controversy with His Israel people began to crystallize in Israel when obedience began to be replaced with lawlessness, thus creating a situation which Hosea describes in Hosea 4:1-2 as:

1 "... the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood."

God gives us the reason for His great controversy with Israel in the same chapter in the first part of verse 6 saying: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:"

What does God mean by knowledge? I'll tell you what He means: He means His laws, statutes, commandments, and judgements, for in them comes all truth and knowledge. Then in the latter part of verse 6, we are provided the punishment for refusing knowledge:

"... because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Have you ever noticed how the writings of the prophets have an uncanny way of stripping away the facade of man-created ways and revealing them for what they are -- the rejection of God's ways. In those early Biblical years there can be no doubt that Israel, in imitating the surrounding nations, was under the mis-perception that, in trying to be like all the other nations, she was being a modern nation, and so she became a part of the "in" society of those times. That is she became like the other nations.

Likewise we today believe we are living in the modern age, and where our forefathers followed the ways of the other nations around them, today we no longer follow but we lead the other nations with our lawless ways. Yes, we are more guilty than our Israelite forefathers in turning away from the way of the Lord." But the prophets also reveal to us that Israel was a cheap imitation of a perverted society which was made all the more tragic, in the light of her unique mission to bless all the nations of the earth.

Where was the uplifting of the moral laxity which permeated the nations of the earth? Where was the demonstration of the Divine Directive in Israel's national structure? Where was the political, economic, and religious obedience to the laws of God which would draw all nations to Israel's witnessing, causing the nations to say as foretold in Deuteronomy 4:6: "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people?"

What they should have been and what they were is strongly contrasted over and over again in the writings of the prophets, but to no avail, for the people of Israel drifted further and further into national lawlessness, until their cup runneth over and God had to punish them. Thus God caused other nations to come against them, resulting in their subsequent captivity by the Assyrians in 745 B.C. and the Babylonians in 600 B.C.

Yes, the prophets foretold of this coming apostasy and captivity; however, the function of the prophet was not only to foretell of doom, but also to generate hope in the hearts and minds of that small remnant in Israel which the Lord had stated would always know what the nation must do.

The prophets also revealed that there would be those who would flee to the appointed places mentioned in 2 Sam. 7:10. In Amos chapter 9:9, it is revealed that Israel would be sifted among all countries; and thus spread abroad under the Covenant promises contained in Genesis 28:14 and 35:11 to be a political memorial to the Faithfulness of God in terms of The Word of Promise given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Isaiah 59:21 and Revelation 10:8-10 tell us that God's Words would be made available to them and they would have no excuse for their lack of knowledge. However, it was also revealed that they would again profane God's Holy Name among the heathen but that this irreverence would result in an exceptional Intervention. Ezekiel tells us in chapter 36:22:

"Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel"

From the usage of the phrase "your own ways" it is all too clear that the folly of rejecting of God's Ways would persist in Israel right down to modern times, and that in spite of His Word being made available on a mass scale with the advent of the printing press, His Directive for godly living would continue to go unheeded. If it were not for the fact that we are told that Israel will be blind as to her identity and purpose, we would have to speculate that such blindness would be impossible or as a minimum, incredible.

But Israel's blindness is real and is carried on through a conspiracy in modern-day theology. In this regard most denominations are co-conspirators in the conspiracy to maintain Israel's blindness to her true destiny.

This conspiracy to "cut off Israel from being a nation" is centered on a two-pronged attack based upon (1) the denial that Israel is the Anglo-Saxon peoples of the world, and (2) the denial of the current validity of God's laws.

But these subjects will have to wait until our next [message].

Lawlessness Part Three

Once again, it was an incontestable fact that the lawlessness we witness in this country on an unprecedented scale, is destroying our people and our society.

We the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred people of this world as the literal descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, have a heritage that we must, and will fulfill, however, we, like our forefathers before have a problem -- and that problem is lawlessness.

We read Ezekiel 36:22 which states:

"Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel."

From the usage of the phrase "your own ways" it is all too clear that the folly of rejecting of God's Ways would persist in Israel right down modern times, and that in spite of His Word being made available with the advent of the printing press, His Directive for godly living would go unheeded. If it were not for the fact that we are told that Israel will be blind as to her identity and purpose, we would have to well speculate that such blindness would be impossible or as a minimum, incredible.

This blindness is carried on through a conspiracy in modern- day theology and most denominations are co-conspirators in the conspiracy to maintain Israel's blindness as to her true identity and destiny.

This conspiracy to "cut off Israel from being a nation" is centered on a two-pronged attack based upon (1) the denial that Israel is the Anglo-Saxon peoples of the world, and (2) the denial of the current validity of God's laws.

On the matter of identity, it borders on insanity that Anglo-Israel with all its God-given marks of Israel identity, are the first to give their Israel birthright status of the promised seed to the Jewsust treatment by their masters. And, for the most part, so it was in the l War South as slaves lived in their own quarters, had guns to hunt with, and a patch of ground on which to grow crops. Although they had a great deal of liberty, unlike slaves

inpture, they could not leave their master as they were considered a form of personal property. But, some were given their freedom and others were allowed to purchase their freedom.

However, in Scripture, a man who abuses his freedom c, the word currently translated as Jew was one denoting domicile within the province of Judaea and had no reference to any racial descent whatsoever. For example Herod was racially from Esau, and yet we know that he was also a Jew. The only way this is possible is by geography or religion -- for it is impossible to be a Jew by race.

As must be obvious, any person, irrespective of racial origins, who happened to reside in the geographical boundaries of Judaea would be called a Judaean. Thus, while one could be called a Judaean, or a Jew, one was not necessarily an Israelite. In point of fact, at the time of Christ, the greater percentage of Israel had never lived in Judaea and therefore could not, by any stretch of imagination, be called Judaeans. It is true that Israelites who practiced Judaism could claim to be Jews by religion or locality -- but not by race for there was and is no such thing as a race of Jews.

[Furthermore], those who lived outside Judaea and called themselves Jews were either displaced Judaeans or those loyal to the government of Judaea. For example, Americans live all over the world and if you ask them, they will tell you in no uncertain terms "I am an American." But they do not live in America, and in fact some have not even been born in the United States. I personally know this to be true in Panama. Thousands of people were born there, live there, work there, pay income taxes to the United States and claim to be, and are United States citizens. The same was true in the time of Christ and thus, by political loyalty, we find Jews in Asia minor, Greece, and Rome.

The third meaning of the word Jew has to do with religion. Many people of those days were not Israelites and yet adhered to the religion of Judaism and were called Jews. For example, as already pointed out, we know this was true of Herod and many other descendants of Esau. These Esauites were religiously Jews -- but they were not Israelites by race as there was and is no such thing as a race of Jews.

So in these three examples we see that the word Jew did not refer to race, but to geography, citizenship or loyalty, and religion. On the matter of the true identity of Israel, the Scripture plainly states in Isaiah 42:10: "Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf as my messenger that I sent?"

Anglo-Israel is completely and utterly blind to their identity as well as to the incredibly destructive mechanism of lawlessness which plunders our society, and it is mainly within Anglo-Israel that lawlessness is so rife, indeed fulfilling the words of the Lord Jesus Christ Who said in Matthew 24:12:

"And because iniquity (lawlessness) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold"

Now I ask you, Does this apply to the Jews? No it does not! While they may reject Christ, they claim all the benefits of the laws of God. It is Anglo-Saxon Israel who, through their blindness as to their identity, have rejected the laws of God, allowing lawolled education is t

heot only in its taxation plan, but also by virtue of its destruction of public character, so that a godly society is turned into a thieves' market.

During the law-abiding time of Israel's history, houses lacked doo

rscurtain was hung in place of a door. Pagan dwellings in surrounding areas had heavy doors, sometimes of stone, carefully fitted into the stone wall, as a necessary protection against other men.

This difference, discovered by archeological work, that the whole law was done away with and that since Calvary God abandoned them to the license of grace, and thus the controversy between law and grace -- where no controversy should exist.

There is no question that we cannot be saved through keeping the law, but once saved by grace, by what standard do we then function as Christians -- if not the ways of God which are the laws of God? Scripture has only told us of two paths to follow: the ways of the Lord, and as Ezekiel told us, "your own ways, O house of Israel." So if we do not follow the ways of the Lord then we are following our own ways or the ways of man.

Despite the controversy on this subject, the Law of the Lord remains an integral part of the covenant with His Israel witness nation. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself unequivocally stated in Matthew 5:19 that:

". . . till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled."

Yes, part of the law was done away with and Colossians makes it clear that what was done away with was the works covenant of sacrificial ordinances. The covenant of sacrificial ordinances was temporary in nature, being centered in the ritual of sacrificial offerings in hiding or covering transgressions of the Law and, as Paul plainly indicates in Galatians 3:19, it was the sacrificial laws which were was added to the covenant of the law given to Israel at Mount Sinai. Galatians 3:19 states:

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

The rituals were a law that was added to the political and economic laws previously received, and just the wording of this verse alone should tell us that the law being referred to as the added law is the sacrificial laws, which were abolished by the sacrifice of Christ. His sacrifice did not abolish any other of God's laws.

Hopefully you have noticed that I have begun each of our last three broadcasts on lawlessness by stating that it was an incontestable fact that the lawlessness we witness in this country on an unprecedented scale, is destroying our people and our society.

We the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred people of this world, as the literal descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, have a heritage that we must, and will fulfill; however, we, like our forefathers before, have a problem and that problem is lawlessness.

In this regard, God is dealing with the United States. In the youth of our nation we were blessed of God because most of the colonies' law was based upon the laws of God. We held to these laws in our youth and became a great nation as was told to Abraham. However, as we grew older and older we became more wise than God, making our own laws, and as time marches on we have become more and more like the heathen nations of the world.

Oh yes, we still profess to know God, but we have forgotten and rejected His knowledge, and Hosea plainly recorded the results for us in Hosea 4:6:

"... because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

Since we have rejected knowledge, He rejects us, and as we forget His law, He forgets us. Many the Lord God have mercy upon us -- His reprobate people. The answer to our lawlessness is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lawlessness Part Four

Once again I am going to open another broadcast stating, it is an incontestable fact that the lawlessness we witness in this country is destroying our people and our society.

We, the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred people of this world, are the literal descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, and we have a heritage that we must, and will fulfill; however, we, like our forefathers before, have a problem and that problem is lawlessness.

Once again let us read from Deuteronomy 6:1-3 because there Israel was told to:

"hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments "... that thy days may be prolonged "... that it may be well with thee."

Today I want to look at a few more laws to follow "that it may be "well with thee." First of all we will look at what society calls homosexuality. However Scripture knows no such word, for the activity in question is called "Sodomy" in Scripture -- not homosexuality

THE SIN OF SODOMY

The sin of Sodomy in this day and age is no longer referred to as sin but as an unfortunate psychological medical problem which must be accepted by society. Now, I am going to tell you something, God said to kill them all, but in this day and age we pass laws to protect them. Laws in opposition to the laws of God are called "your own ways, O house of Israel."

Yes we pass "the laws of man" and call it legislation. This legislation is passed giving Sodomy the legal status of social respectability and this foul and despicable practice, for which the Lord destroyed whole cities is thus condoned by man who wants things to be in his "own ways."

In most Anglo-Saxon nations, sodomy is a crime; however, that activity and the penalties for sodomy are either being ignored, or have been annulled; and the tragedy of it all is that men will not see that, far from improving society, in rejecting the Directive of God, they are actually mocking Him by claiming that their brand of justice, their "own ways" according to Scripture, has more authority than the ways of the Lord.

THE SIN OF MURDER

Next the sin of murder. As I have repeatedly pointed out, there is a difference between killing someone and murder. If someone intentionally kills another person, that is murder, and the murderer is to be put to death. But he who carries out the sentence, while he kills another person, he is not a murderer.

Going back in time to Mount Sinai, to the days when the Laws were codified and given to Israel through Moses, the law on murder was mandatory and not subject to that which is right in man's eyes. Numbers 35:31-32 states:

"Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: But one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
"Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall surely be put to death."

From the whole context in which this statute of judgement appears, it will be seen that failure to carry out the judgment results in a land filled with crime and violence, and in Numbers 35:33-34 we are told:

"So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: For blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but only by the blood of him that shed it.
"Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel."

Notwithstanding the fact that it was only the Ordinances of sacrificial offerings which were abolished at Calvary, there are also those who contend that the Lord, in the Sermon on the Mount, replaced the Commandments, Statutes and Judgments with so-called Christian laws of love.

Thus it is claimed that the "eye for an eye" law was rescinded, thus relieving man of the barbarous task of exacting retribution from the murderer. This view is utterly inconsistent with the whole tenure of what Christ taught in his sermon, for it will be found that what he really did was to intensify the Law in all its phases -- for example, unwarranted anger is equated with murder and illicit desire is equal to adultery. Thus, it is the height of folly and the deepest depths of apostasy to teach that the Law of the Lord is no longer valid and those who are of this persuasion should read again the indictment of Christ as recorded in Matthew 5:19 which states:

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:"

It would appear that Christian theologians are, knowingly or unknowingly, aiding and abetting the conspirators who are seeking the demise of God's Israel nation by teaching as doctrine, the abolishment of the Law of the Lord. However, this does not mean that Israel, as God's "sheep nation" should act in sheep-like stupidity by following the shepherds against whom the Lord warned us so graphically in Ezekiel 34:2:

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Today, the adult people of Anglo-Israel are without excuse, as they have matured in the ordeal of tremendous affliction of two world wars, and have seen the miraculous deliverance at the Hands of the Lord in vindication of His promise in Isaiah 54:17, which states:

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

The time is now for us to instruct the young in the "ways of the Lord," and Anglo-Israel parents neglect this responsibility at their own peril. But the youth of today, too, are also without excuse.

Hopefully you are familiar with what is known as "peer pressure" wherein [our youth] are made to feel utterly alone if they are not a part of the "in group." The Bible tells of more than one youth who had the courage to buck the "peer pressure" which, even in those days, was in effect. We can read of Joseph, of Daniel, of Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego, of Timothy and countless others who continued steadfast in the knowledge of the Lord.

However, Israel today is not without hope, but this hope is centered only in a return -- a return to God's Word, God's Purpose and God's Kingdom ruled by His laws. Haggai 1:5-6 tells us: "Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways."
And what are those ways? Verse 6:

"Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink. but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm, and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes . . ."

This, indeed, is the state of true modern Israel today but the opportunity for true freedom, peace, and prosperity lies before us if we will listen and do as we are told in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Notice the conditions imposed here: If, if and if, which means if you will, and if you will, then, then, then, I will...

Yes:

  • IF: My people, that is
    • If Israel will Humble themselves
    • If Israel will pray
    • If Israel will seek my face
    • If Israel will turn from their wicked ways
  • THEN: Then I will hear
    • Then I will forgive their sins
    • Then I will heal their land
AND NOT BEFORE!
